Proposed Revenue Recognition Model Re-exposed

You are invited to attend the Proposed Revenue Recognition Model Re-exposed webcast.

The FASB and IASB have redeliberated and made significant changes to their proposed revenue model initially exposed in June 2010. As a result, in November they are issuing a second exposure draft of their joint revenue recognition proposal. We expect that most entities will see some change in revenue recognition when this proposal is effective. This webcast will provide an overview of the revised revenue recognition proposal and how it will affect U.S. GAAP.

This webcast will cover the following topics:

  • The basic model in the revised revenue proposal
  • Differences from current U.S. GAAP
  • Potential impact

Featured Presenters:

  • Lynne Triplett, Partner, Accounting Principles, Grant Thornton LLP
  • Doug Reynolds, Partner, Accounting Principles, Grant Thornton LLP
